    Vitamin D (25-OH)

A steroid hormone precursor critical for immunity, bone health, and mood.

    Vitamin D (25-OH) — Biomarker

25-hydroxyvitamin D is the storage form measured in blood. Longevity-oriented targets are 50–80 ng/mL (125–200 nmol/L). Deficiency is endemic — even in sun-rich regions like the UAE — because of indoor lifestyles, sunscreen, and clothing. Supplementation typically requires 2,000–5,000 IU/day with K2, dosed against a measured baseline rather than guessed.
