    Time-Restricted Eating (TRE)

Compressing your eating window — typically to 8–10 hours — to align with circadian biology.

Time-Restricted Eating (TRE) — Dietary Pattern

Eating only between, say, 10 AM and 7 PM lets your body spend 14+ hours in a fasted state, supporting insulin sensitivity, , and overnight fat oxidation. TRE produces modest weight loss (~3% body weight) but larger improvements in metabolic markers when the window is earlier in the day. Skipping breakfast and eating late is associated with worse outcomes than skipping dinner.
